Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Course
Course Description:
Prepare young teens to be safe, responsible, and effective babysitters. This engaging HSI course covers essential topics like sitter responsibilities, child development stages, basic childcare skills (feeding, diapering), recognizing and handling common problems, safety awareness (indoors/outdoors), and basic emergency response, including awareness of first aid and CPR concepts. Builds confidence and leadership skills.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the skills session and written exam, participants will receive an official HSI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) completion card.
Target Audience:
Pre-teens and teenagers (typically ages 11-15) interested in babysitting.
