


Emergency Medical Response (EMR) Course
Course Description:
This comprehensive course provides the foundational knowledge and skills to assess and manage life-threatening emergencies for those aspiring to or functioning in an initial emergency response role. Covering patient assessment, airway management, breathing and circulation support, medical and trauma emergencies, EMS operations, and pharmacology basics, this course meets or exceeds National EMS Education Standards for the EMR level. Taught by seasoned EMS professionals, the course combines classroom instruction with extensive hands-on skills practice and realistic scenarios, preparing individuals to provide competent initial care until advanced EMS personnel arrive.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the skills session and written exam, participants will receive an official ARC Emergency Medical Response certification (valid for 2 years). May be used towards state EMR certification requirements (check local regulations).
