Emergency Oxygen Course
Course Description:
Gain the knowledge and skills to provide vital supplemental oxygen during breathing emergencies. This HSI course covers recognizing situations requiring emergency oxygen, understanding oxygen delivery systems (cylinders, regulators, delivery devices), and safe administration techniques for breathing and non-breathing patients. Essential training for responders who may encounter respiratory distress or arrest.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the skills session and written exam, participants will receive an official HSI Emergency Oxygen certification card (valid for 2 years).
Target Audience:
Individuals trained in CPR/First Aid, Lifeguards, EMRs, BLS Providers, Workplace Responders.
