


Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course
Course Description:
Equip yourself with the skills to effectively manage critically ill infants and children. This HSI PALS course uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. Participants will practice recognizing and managing pediatric respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest. Led by instructors with deep pediatric and emergency care expertise, this course ensures providers can deliver high-quality, lifesaving care to young patients. Reflects current ILCOR guidelines.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the skills session and written exam, participants will receive an official HSI Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification card (valid for 2 years).
Target Audience:
Pediatricians, Nurses (Pediatric, ED, ICU), Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, and other healthcare providers regularly caring for infants and children.
