Learning Objectives:
- Prioritize personal and scene safety in high-threat situations
- Recognize and control life-threatening external bleeding (tourniquets, pressure dressings)
- Extract casualties from danger, maintain airway, and treat for shock
- Use the MARCH algorithm (Massive hemorrhage, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Hypothermia)
- Communicate with EMS and document interventions
