Description
This course instructs participants in assessing anaphylactic reactions and properly administering epinephrine via auto-injectors and aftercare requirements.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize symptoms of mild to severe anaphylaxis.
- Understand the role and mechanism of epinephrine.
- Properly store, handle, and use different EAI devices.
- Apply EAI through clothing according to brand instructions.
- Perform post-administration care: call 911, monitor for improvement, and administer a second dose if necessary.
- Prevent accidental injury and ensure device readiness.
